Filipe Matos

Filipe Matos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience at EDP, currently serving as the Head of Metering at Qualification & Inspections at EDP Labelec since August 2015. In this role, Filipe has successfully restructured the metering area to enhance performance indices and reduce costs by eliminating inefficient tasks, while also integrating digital and sustainable practices into operations. Additionally, Filipe has experience as a Product Owner for Digital Transformation, where a solution developed in this capacity improved productivity, reduced errors by 20%, and increased operational efficiency by 40%. Filipe's career began with a summer internship at EDP Distribuição, focusing on technical maintenance procedures in high and medium voltage networks, and Filipe holds an Integrated Master in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, as well as an Executive MBA from Porto Business School in collaboration with UC Berkeley.
