Joana Mateus

Joana Mateus is an accomplished User Experience Design Lead at EDP, with extensive experience in user-focused design and strategic implementation across diverse business units. Since February 2019, Joana has facilitated design strategies and led various cross-functional teams while also contributing as a UX/UI Designer for MVPs in sectors such as renewables and sustainability. Joana co-founded Peixaria Centenária, developing its brand and communication strategy over eight years, and has held significant roles including Visual Designer at Cached Collective, where Joana examines the impact of data privacy, as well as various design positions in digital agencies and educational institutions. Joana holds a licentiate degree in Design from Universidade de Aveiro and has continued education in branding and art pedagogy from esteemed institutions.
