Luisa Serra has extensive experience in project management and sustainability, currently serving as the Innovation R&D Project Manager at EDP's NEW R&D Centre for New Energy Technologies since January 2005. Luisa's work encompasses digital projects involving big data, machine learning, and cybersecurity, alongside sustainability initiatives addressing climate change and the water-energy-food nexus. Previously, Luisa held roles as Ethics Ombudsman Advisor and Senior Environmental Analyst at EDP, focusing on ethical frameworks and environmental risk management. Luisa's career includes project management positions at Siemens, Alstom, and IST, alongside a strong academic background with multiple degrees in engineering, finance, and sustainable energy systems from prestigious institutions such as Instituto Superior Técnico and London Business School.
