Luiz Dias is an R&D Project Manager at EDP, leading the DriVe2X Project aimed at smart and bidirectional EV charging solutions across the EU and UK. With extensive experience in the field, Luiz previously served as a Fellow at Future Energy Leaders Portugal and as a Product Development Engineer at Vishay Intertechnology, overseeing multiple projects in electrified powertrains and renewable energy applications. Prior roles include Electric Powertrain Development Engineer at AVL, e-Mobility Consultant at Semcon, and EV Charging Specialist at BYD Brasil, where Luiz managed the deployment of EV chargers and coordinated installations. Luiz holds an Advanced Studies degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from Universidade do Porto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Controls Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
