Manuel Martins

Manuel Martins is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Solar DG Product Development Deputy Director at EDP since July 2011. With a strong background in business development, Manuel has held various key positions, including B2B Field Services and Operations Deputy Director and B2B Energy Services Deputy Director in Spain, where responsibility included business reporting to the Board and team management. Manuel has successfully developed the B2B energy efficiency team from scratch and has engaged in strategic delineation with stakeholders to achieve sales goals. Prior to EDP, Manuel worked as an HVAC Project Manager at Afaconsult, focusing on the development of HVAC engineering projects. Manuel holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a postgraduate degree in Management from Universidade do Minho, currently pursuing advanced studies at The Lisbon MBA Católica | Nova.
