Margarida Simões

Margarida Simões is an experienced professional in the energy sector, specializing in structuring and origination at GEM Europe. They previously worked as a Commodities Trader and as the Pricing Manager for EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. from 2006 to 2014, later serving as the Sub-Head of Structuring and Origination and Deputy Director of the Energy Markets Division until 2022. Margarida holds a Master's degree in Financial Markets from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Bachelor's degree in Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, complemented by an Erasmus experience at the University of Liège.
