Martim Salgado

Martim Salgado is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Board Member at Fundação EDP since November 2022 and as the Head of Social Impact Coordination Office and Head of Transformation & Talent Management at EDP since May 2019. Prior to these roles, Martim was a Special Projects Advisor at EDP Renewables from February 2017 to May 2019, and an MBA candidate at INSEAD in 2016. Martim's earlier career at EDP from July 2011 to December 2015 included roles as Chief of Staff to the CEO and involvement in Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Development. Martim also gained experience in Corporate Finance at ES Investment Bank from November 2008 to June 2011. Academically, Martim holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Mestrado em Finanças as well as a Licenciatura em Gestão from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
