Pedro Soares

Pedro Soares has extensive experience in the engineering sector, particularly in hydroelectric projects. Since February 2010, Pedro has been with EDP, where responsibilities include leading the supervision and commissioning of hydroelectric plants, ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards, and managing multi-million-euro projects that focus on optimizing energy efficiency. Prior to this role, from August 2009 to January 2010, Pedro served as a Senior Technical Specialist at EFACEC, managing contracts for hydro power projects while ensuring timely execution and effective cost negotiation with suppliers. Pedro holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, with a specialization in Energy Markets and Renewable Energies.
