Rita Mota

Rita Mota serves as the Chair of the Retail Market Design Working Group at Eurelectric since November 2020 and has been the Deputy Director in the Competition and Energy Policies Department at EDP since June 2015, focusing on regulatory affairs, regulatory risk management, and participation in European energy discussions. Prior experience at EDP Comercial from August 2002 to May 2015 involved roles in energy management, business planning and performance monitoring, strategic marketing, and risk analysis. Rita Mota's educational background includes a degree from The Lisbon MBA Part Time program at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a degree from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
