Simone Gonçalves

Simone Gonçalves has extensive experience in regulatory, competition, and energy policies, currently serving within the Regulation & Competition Legal Team at EDP since February 2021. Previously, from April 2009 to January 2021, Simone held various roles at EDP Comercial, including responsibilities in regulation and compliance, where tasks involved managing regulatory interactions, risk management, and project management for audits, alongside teaching internal training courses. Additional experience includes energy sourcing management and analytical support for decision-making processes. Earlier career roles involved internships at PT Inovação e Sistemas and ERSE, focusing on IT asset management and human resource functions, respectively. Simone holds a Postgraduate Degree in System Analytics and Business Intelligence from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Degree in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics.
