Vera Nunes

Vera Nunes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public authorities management and government affairs at EDP since July 2021. Prior roles at EDP Distribuição SA included Head of Communication and Brand, where responsibilities encompassed shaping internal and external communication strategies, as well as overseeing the rebranding from EDP Distribuição to E-REDES. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Consultant for Smart Cities and Communities, focusing on innovative solutions within the European Union's H2020 initiatives, and managing business development related to Smart Grids and urban challenges. Vera Nunes has also held positions in banking and local government prior to joining EDP, and has pursued advanced education in sustainable energy transition and management in energy.
