Christopher Stewart

Christopher Stewart has held various leadership roles in the education sector. Christopher served as the Chief Executive Officer at brightbeam since April 2019 and as the Director of External Affairs from August 2014 to April 2019. Christopher also served as a Board Member at GreatSchools.org since January 2018 and at EdNavigator since June 2015. Additionally, they were a Leadership Fellow at the Pahara Institute from September 2019 to March 2023. Previously, Christopher held the position of President and CEO at Wayfinder from April 2017 to April 2019. Christopher was also the Board Chair at Our Turn from December 2013 to April 2017 and a Leadership Fellow at the Bush Foundation from May 2014 to April 2016. Furthermore, they served as a Board Member at Charter School Partners from April 2011 to April 2015. Christopher's work experience also includes being the Director - African American Leadership Forum at the Headwaters Foundation for Justice from April 2012 to August 2014 and an Asset Development Consultant at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans from October 2009 to March 2013.

Christopher Stewart has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Goddard College. Christopher also has a certificate in Educational Finance from Georgetown University. In addition, they attended the ASU+GSV Summit in 2023.
