Cheryl Traversa

Cheryl Traversa is an experienced professional in brand heritage and archives management, currently serving as the Brand Archive Manager for The Macallan at Edrington since February 2018. In this role, Cheryl leads the strategy and management of The Macallan Heritage Team, focusing on the preservation and authenticity of the brand's legacy. Prior to this, Cheryl worked as the Business Archives Surveying Officer for Scotland at the University of Glasgow, where engagement with businesses emphasized leveraging heritage to preserve Scotland's business history. Cheryl's expertise is further complemented by various roles in archives, including as a Tutor for the Business Records and Archives Module at the University of Dundee, Collections Officer at Northamptonshire County Council, and Archive Cataloguer at the University of Glasgow. Cheryl holds a Master’s Degree in Information Management and Preservation and another Master’s Degree in Archaeology, both from the University of Glasgow.
