Marcus Oledal

Marcus Oledal has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Marcus started their career as a Ph.D. student at SINTEF and then worked as a project engineer at Kvaerner ASA. Marcus later joined Fluent Sweden AB as an account manager and then became a sales manager, responsible for managing the sales team and direct sales of CFD software. After that, Marcus worked at ANSYS as a sales manager, where they successfully negotiated major account agreements and grew the office's turnaround. Marcus then joined ANSYS Sweden AB as a regional sales manager for the Nordic region. Marcus also worked at Gridcore AB as a VP sales, where they provided interim management for sales resources. Currently, they are the Head of Business Innovation at EDRMedeso Simulation. Marcus previously served as the VP of Sales and Director of Enabling Services at the same company. Additionally, Marcus has also served as the Chairman of the Board at Bigjump AB.

Marcus Oledal completed their Ph.D. in Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1989 and 1994. Prior to that, they attended Uppsala University from 1985 to 1987, although the specific degree and field of study during this period are unknown.
