Michael Batts

Michael Batts is a seasoned landscape architect with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal at EDSA, Inc. since January 2022, Michael previously led the Landscape Architecture practice at Stewart from September 2012 to February 2022, where responsibilities included day-to-day management and serving as director of design. Prior to that role, from July 2007 to September 2012, Michael was a Senior Associate at HadenStanziale, overseeing major projects and managing a multidisciplinary team. Michael's early career included significant roles at EDSA and an internship at Sears Design Group, focusing on a variety of projects internationally and locally. Michael earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University between 1997 and 2002.
