Chuck Langford

Chuck Langford is a senior software developer at EdSights. Chuck has over ten years of experience in the field of software development and has worked on a variety of projects during their career. Chuck’s most recent position was with AgileThought, where they served as the lead Node.js developer for a Big Four accounting firm greenfield project. During their time at AgileThought, Chuck also created a highly available, clustered, AMQP driven, eventing framework in Node.js. This framework rapidly responds to application events while allowing developers to easily create new responses to the application's evolving event system. In addition, Chuck reduced network traffic and increased overall project performance by creating a promise based, Universal JavaScript reverse proxy. Chuck also increased project performance with a custom, in-browser caching system. Chuck led efforts to create project wide logging standards and created a CLI tool to interact with Azure Service Bus, which allowed project developers to easily manage their develop environments. Chuck also maintained a Universal JavaScript library. Prior to joining AgileThought, Chuck worked as a software developer for 352 and was awarded MVP of their team for the last two years. Chuck also delivered a highly available, real time proof of concept auction product within four weeks. Before their career in software development, Chuck worked as a Sr. Field Services Technician for Digital Connections and as a Field Engineer for Colonial Bank.

Chuck Langford has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University. Chuck has been working in the field of information technology since 2006.
