Justin Allen is a designer, digital humanist, and writer with over a decade of experience at the intersection of content, code, and design. They have held positions such as Editorial and Design Director at The Creosote Journal, and Web Design and Development Manager at EdSource, where their work in data journalism and news design has received multiple awards. Currently, Justin freelances while pursuing graduate studies in English at the University of Illinois Chicago, with a research focus on the interplay of energy, ecology, class, and race in contemporary fiction.
