Robert Sheffield is a growth strategist and executive leader with extensive experience in the education sector. Starting their career as a substitute teacher in 1997, they have held various roles including high school history teacher, K-12 instructional specialist, and district administrator, where they successfully expanded college readiness opportunities. Robert has served as President of CORE Learning and is currently the Founding Partner and Managing Director at ScaleUp, a consultancy aimed at scaling evidence-based solutions in schools. Additionally, they are an adjunct professor at California State University-Long Beach and hold multiple board member positions, including with EdSource and the Social Studies Accelerator. Robert is also pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
