Jo Sherman is the founder and CEO of Evidence Disclosure Technology (EDT), a SaaS company established in January 2002, focusing on innovative solutions in the legal sector. Additionally, Jo served as an Advisory Board Member for the Data Law Initiative at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law from July 2014 to December 2020 and acted as a Strategic Advisor for the Canadian Judicial Council from 2013 to 2020. Jo founded and managed Azure, a consulting firm from 2001 to June 2014, specializing in providing strategic advice to courts regarding technology and business innovation. Previous roles include Director of the Future Courts Program at the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney General, Strategic Consultant at the Federal Court of Australia, Managing Director at LawNow Limited, and Registrar of the Court of Appeal in Queensland. Jo holds a combined LL.B and BA in Law and Computer Science from The University of Queensland, earned from 1984 to 1990.
