Ana Grilo

Ana Grilo is a highly experienced healthcare professional specializing in nephrology and dialysis. Currently serving as the Kidney Care & Transplantation Programmes Manager at Mediclinic Middle East since April 2021, Ana also manages dialysis operations. In addition, contributions to the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association as a faculty member for the renal program have been ongoing since January 2020. Previously, a Pediatric Nephrology Consultant and Clinical Nurse Educator at Sidra Medicine from 2018 to April 2021, Ana has held various roles including Clinical Nurse Leader in surgery at Hospital Beatriz Ângelo Lisboa and Nurse Leader/Nurse Educator at Fresenius Medical Care Portugal. Ana's educational background includes a PhD in Nursing from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a Master's degree in management from Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Calouste Gulbenkian de Lisboa, along with specializations and licentiate degrees in nephrology, dialysis, and nursing.
