Tracy Diel

Tracy Diel has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Tracy currently holds the position of Director of Research at Education Analytics. Prior to this, Tracy worked as a Research Manager at the same company. Before joining Education Analytics, they served as a Data Analyst at Stichting Nederlandse Medicijnen Verificatie Organisatie. Tracy has had a significant tenure at Denver Public Schools, where they held multiple roles. Tracy started as a Senior Research and Analytics Consultant, during which they led various research studies and provided statistical models for measuring district initiatives. Tracy then progressed to become the Manager of Research and Evaluation, where they led a team of researchers and analysts and implemented the district's research and evaluation agenda. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Strategic Projects Analyst, contributing to the success of English Language Learners (ELLs) through research and program evaluation. Tracy's early career includes a position as a Strategic Data Fellow at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, where they conducted research and program evaluations at Denver Public Schools. Tracy began their career as a Project Manager at Applied Survey Research, where they conducted a wide range of research and evaluation activities. Overall, Tracy brings a wealth of analytical and research skills to their current role as Director of Research.

Tracy Diel has an extensive education history, spanning from 1999 to 2019. Tracy started their academic journey at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from 1999 to 2003.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Tracy furthered their education and attended San Jose State University. From 2004 to 2006, they obtained a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree with a specialization in Social Welfare.

In 2010, Tracy embarked on a Fellowship in Education Policy Research at Harvard University, which they successfully completed in 2012. This fellowship provided their with in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of Education Policy Research.

Tracy's academic pursuits did not end there. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Research Master's degree at the University of Amsterdam. Their research focus was on Child Development and Education, utilizing the knowledge gained from their previous degrees to delve into this specific area of study.

Throughout their education, Tracy has developed a strong foundation in Psychology, Social Welfare, Education Policy Research, and Child Development and Education, making their a well-rounded and knowledgeable individual in these fields.
