Clara Govier

Clara Govier currently serves on the High-Level Steering Group at Education Cannot Wait since May 2021. With a longstanding tenure at People's Postcode Lottery starting in October 2010, Clara has held multiple key positions, including Managing Director (Chair) and Head of Charities. In these roles, Clara managed 18 charitable trusts and substantial player funds, fostering long-term funding relationships and overseeing a team of 15 charity professionals. Previously, Clara held various communication roles in organizations such as The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and the Scottish Wildlife Trust, where notable achievements included managing significant budgets and leading impactful press campaigns. Educational qualifications include a BA (Joint Hons) in History and Media Studies from Exeter University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from Queen Margaret University.
