Lorraine Sova

Lorraine Sova, Ph.D., serves as the TOEFL Young Students Content Lead at ETS since 2011, additionally holding several other leadership roles including the TOEFL Young Students Constructed Response Lead and Alternate ELPAC K-12 Content Lead. Sova's extensive experience in education includes positions as an Adjunct Instructor at Rider University and various editorial roles at Langenscheidt Publishing Group, including Senior Editor. Additionally, Sova has worked as a freelance writer and editor, and has taught English as a Foreign Language. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Temple University, a teaching certification in ESL/Education from Rider University, an MFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College, and a BA in English from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
