Mahmut Canbegi has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the School Principal at Harmony Public Schools since August 2014, after previously holding positions as Assistant Principal of Academics and Assistant Principal of Operation & Finance. Additionally, Mahmut has been an ETS Rater for the PRAXIS-Performance Assessment for School Leaders since February 2020. Prior to the current role, Mahmut served as Assistant Principal of Operation & Finance at Frontier Schools, Inc. from August 2012 to July 2014 and worked as a Science Teacher at Harmony Public Schools from August 2009 to July 2012. Mahmut holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, earned between 2012 and 2015, and a degree from Suleyman Demirel University, obtained from 1998 to 2002.
