Sumit Mehrotra

Sumit Mehrotra is an accomplished product leader with extensive experience in developing and managing technology products. Currently serving as VP of Product at Educative, Inc. since June 2023, Sumit focuses on creating productivity and learning tools for developers. Prior to this, Sumit held the position of Director of Product at Databricks from January 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading product development for efficient management of the Databricks #lakehouse across multiple public clouds. Sumit's earlier roles include Technical PM at Facebook, Senior Director of Product Management at Skytap, and several positions at Microsoft, including Program Manager for Windows Azure and the Mobile Platforms Division. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy, Finance, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an MS in Computer Science from Boston University, alongside a BS in Computer Science from BIT Mesra.
