Beth Croll, CMP, DES has over 25 years of experience in event management and conference planning. Beth is currently the Senior Director of Conferences and Events at EDUCAUSE, where they oversee the strategic planning and operations of conferences, events, and meetings. Beth values collaboration and partnership with colleagues and vendors to enhance the member experience.

Prior to their role at EDUCAUSE, Beth served as the Director of Conferences and Events, where they directed a team that produced the Annual Conference and other face-to-face or virtual events focused on career development and networking for higher education IT professionals.

Beth also has experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked as the Director of Scientific Meetings Programming at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. Beth was responsible for programming the leading cardiovascular meeting in the United States, which included coordinating thousands of presentations from cardiovascular experts worldwide.

Earlier in their career, Beth worked as a Conference Manager at the American Heart Association, where they successfully executed multiple scientific conferences per year and managed various aspects of the event, including abstract submissions, program development, and materials distribution.

Before entering the event management industry, Beth worked as a Facilities Services Coordinator at Texas Health Resources.

Beth Croll, CMP, DES holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Family Studies from Ambassador University. Beth obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in January 2006. Additionally, they acquired the Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification from PCMA in 2020.
