Heather Guerrero, DES, is a skilled professional with extensive experience in coordination and event management. Currently serving as the Professional Development Coordinator at EDUCAUSE since July 2019, Heather oversees the operations of the Professional Development unit, managing event calendars, budgeting, and documentation. Previously, as the Communications & Special Events Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Clubs, Heather successfully led five annual fundraising events generating $100,000, while also managing social media and marketing communications. Prior roles include Marketing Coordinator at ADVODA Technology Solutions, where Heather directed the annual CommUnity event, and Administrative Assistant at Colorado State University, where Heather supported various programs. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and Business Administration from Colorado State University.
