Jason Barnes

Jason Barnes is a Data Analytics Engineer at EDUCAUSE since February 2022, focusing on enhancing data and reporting infrastructure to improve member experiences. Previously, Jason served as Technical Product Lead at EDUCAUSE, driving IT-empowered solutions for higher education and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Jason has extensive experience in software architecture, having held positions at Added Innovation as a Software Architect, and at Gravitate Solutions as Technical Manager and Lead Software Architect. Earlier roles include Software Architect at Old Town IT and System Engineer at PaperWise. Jason began a career in technology as a Programmer/Consultant at Drury University. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Drury University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Ozarks Technical Community College.
