Melissa Wheatley has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa started their career in 2006 as the Head of School at Mosaica Education, Inc., where they served until 2013. Following that, they worked as an Educational Consultant, specializing as a National Certified Associate Trainer from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, Melissa joined CAA of Columbiana County Head Start as the Family Partnership/ERSEA/Grant Manager for Columbiana & Jefferson Counties until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Data and Assessment (DnA) Customer Success Manager at Illuminate Education, Inc. Lastly, Melissa has been a Customer Success Manager at Edulastic by GoGuardian since February 2019.

Melissa Wheatley completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Youngstown State University from 2001 to 2005. Melissa then pursued a Master's degree in Teacher Education and Professional Development, with a specialization in Educational Technology, at the same institution from 2006 to 2009. In 2013, Melissa attended The Ohio State University and completed a program in Executive Principal Leadership, focusing on Educational Leadership and Administration.
