Eric Lavesson

Senior Software Architect, Tech lead and Trainer at Edument

Eric Lavesson started their work experience in 2008 as a Software Consultant at Monacor Sweden AB, where they worked on projects involving PHP, MySQL, and C#/.NET. In 2009, they became a Math/Physics/Computer Science teacher at Klippans Gymnasieskolor until 2012. From 2012 onwards, they worked at Edument AB as a Senior Software Architect, Tech lead, and Trainer. In 2014, they founded DecemberBorn Interactive AB, an indie game studio, and served as the CTO and Founder. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Zmarta Group. In 2019, they joined Huawei as a Software Development Consultant until 2021. Currently, they are working as the CTO/Co-founder and a board member at PayZlip, where they are involved in building the next generation of time tracking and automatic salary calculation software.

Eric Lavesson completed their education in a chronological order. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Kristianstad University, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in the fields of Physics, Mathematics, and Pedagogics. Later, from 2007 to 2012, Eric studied at Mid Sweden University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, in February 2012, Eric acquired certification as a Professional Scrum Master 1 from scrum.org.
