Jon Kerr

Jon Kerr currently serves as the Associate Lead for Staff Development and Teacher of Drama at Pyrland School, where responsibilities include new staff induction, mentoring, and continued professional development. With experience as a Union Representative for the National Education Union and as a GCSE Drama Examiner/Moderator for Eduqas, Jon has a robust background in education. Previously, Jon held positions as Head of Drama and Head of Year at Pyrland School and taught Drama at Heathfield Community School. Early career roles include Performing Arts and Media Technician at Sir John Deane's College and Store Manager at Music Zone. Jon holds a PGCE in Secondary Education: Drama from Birmingham City University and a degree in Theatre Studies from Middlesex University.
