Steven Dao

Steven Dao has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Steven is currently the Technical Lead at Edvisor, a role they started in January 2021.

Prior to that, Steven worked at EducationLink from November 2017 to January 2021 as a Senior Full Stack Developer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining all products and services at EducationLink. Steven worked closely with the team and facilitated open communication within the company.

From June 2017 to December 2017, Steven worked at Becas Technology as a Software Engineer. Steven developed various software applications, including an Android app called Besmart for use in bars and clubs. Steven also upgraded POS software for restaurants, service stations, and clubs, and maintained a Back-office app for managing POS resources.

During the same period, Steven volunteered at SMASH Inc. as an IT Assistant. Steven assisted the IT director with application development, upgraded existing software, and set up devices and networks for conventions.

Steven's earlier work experience includes working at Aromajoin from June 2015 to September 2017 as a Junior Software Engineer. Steven developed Windows applications, add-ins, and SDKs to connect with AromaShooters. Steven worked both independently and as part of a team of five.

Steven Dao started their education in 2013 at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. However, they did not complete their degree and left the university in 2016. In 2017, they attended the Academy of Interactive Technology and obtained a Diploma in Information Technology. Additionally, in the same year, they completed a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. Furthermore, in July 2017, they obtained a certification in Front End Development from freeCodeCamp.
