Fletcher Hearns has worked for various companies in different roles since 1983. Fletcher started as a Senior Systems Analyst at Inco, where they led a team in developing a near real-time messaging profiling subsystem for the US Air Force's message-handling system. Fletcher then worked as a Senior Consultant at Digital Equipment Corporation, where they managed project teams of 3 to 10 technology consultants on custom consulting engagements for current and prospective customers, including a systems conversion of the world's largest on-line gaming system for a new $20 million a year client.
In 1994, they became the President of S*A*I*L Inc., a consulting company specializing in Project Management, Software Development, and System Integration. Fletcher delivered the Claims & Payment system to the world's largest lottery company and a high-performance transaction-based database system to process instant (Scratch) ticket lottery transactions.
In 2001, they joined ODS Medical as the Director of Engineering, where they managed all aspects of the product development life cycle and implemented department procedures, including the management of a 24x7 customer support department and internal IT resources.
Fletcher then joined Edwards Performance Solutions in 2008 as a Senior Program Manager and Enterprise Solution Specialist responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level project management (EPM) solutions around Microsoft Project Server. In 2011, they assumed the leadership role for this area, becoming the Director of Technology Solutions. Fletcher is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Edwards Performance Solutions, responsible for aligning the company's strategy, innovation, and solution development with current and emerging technology trends. Fletcher'sareas of expertise include technology innovation, enterprise architecture, systems engineering, software development, and solution delivery, supplemented by a decade of experience in software development and program and project management.
Fletcher Hearns obtained a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Denison University between 1979 and 1983. Fletcher has since obtained multiple additional certifications in project management and agile methodologies from institutions such as Scaled Agile, Inc., The International Consortium for Agile, and the Project Management Institute. Fletcher has also received certifications from Microsoft and the Scrum Alliance.
