Irv Plotnik

Irv Plotnik currently serves as the Director of Technology and Product Applications at Edwards Vacuum since June 2023. Previously, Plotnik was employed at KLA for 27 years, culminating in the role of General Manager, where significant business plans and strategies resulted in threefold increases in bookings and service revenue. In various positions at KLA, including Sales Director and Senior Account Manager, Plotnik demonstrated excellence in team management, accurate forecasting, and key account management, especially with US-based accounts and global partners. Prior experience includes roles at Varian Semiconductor as Strategic Marketing Manager and at Hampshire Instruments as Director of Mask Systems. Plotnik holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
