Emily Appel is a seasoned coach and educational leader with extensive experience in enhancing community outcomes and addressing inequities across various sectors. As Co-Founder and COO of Made By Change, Emily leads national projects and cultivates partnerships with schools, healthcare organizations, and municipal entities to achieve equitable outcomes. Currently serving as a coach at edwell and Noble Story Group, Emily utilizes emotional intelligence principles to empower leaders in the education sector. Previously, Emily held roles at TNTP, where responsibilities included directing projects focused on educational improvement and talent management. With a strong foundation in teaching and leadership training, Emily holds a Master’s in Elementary Education from American University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Winthrop University.
