Growing up in Barrio Logan, an underserved community without strong educational support, I never saw myself as a scholar or writer. To now be recognized as a storyteller through screenwriting is something I carry with deep pride and honor.

My journey began at 18 in retail and youth leadership. Over the past decade, I’ve built a career in project management across film, branded content, and entrepreneurship—earning a reputation for precision, speed, and thoughtful execution. I became the person who could make it work no matter the budget—while ensuring collaborators are treated with fairness and respect.

A USC School of Cinematic Arts alumnus and current MFA candidate at San Diego State University, I approach filmmaking with both creative vision and a disciplined, producer-driven mindset—grounded in strategy, logistics, and intentional preparation. I was mentored by Hollywood UPM and Line Producer Robert Brown and trained under producers Sev Ohanian (Searching, Sinners) and Michael Peyser (Matilda)—developing a strong foundation in budgeting, scheduling, and production strategy while delivering high-quality work on limited resources.

Working with small business owners taught me how to build something from nothing—planting the foundation for my entrepreneurial mindset. After years of navigating untrustworthy clients and exploitative producers, I made a defining decision in 2021: to fully commit to building my own path as a filmmaker.

That decision led to the creation of FUEGO—a short film written in honor of my late father—which quickly evolved into something greater.

FUEGO is no longer just a film—it is a brand born from grief, joy, and cultural legacy. Drawing from my background in dance—from breakdancing to salsa training and instruction—I bring cultural authenticity and audience insight into the film’s development and marketing strategy.
