Kavya B.

Kavya B. is an experienced product designer currently working at edX since April 2021. Previously, Kavya was a user experience designer at UCLA Health and held the position of design researcher at Indiana University Bloomington, where responsibilities included leading participatory design workshops and conducting interviews focused on healthy eating technology. In earlier roles, Kavya contributed to design specifications for the Data Capsule Appliance at Indiana University, and completed a user experience design internship at Microsoft, where the focus was on developing an onboarding experience for an AI simulation tool. Earlier experience as a data analyst at Microsoft involved gathering user needs and presenting findings to a team. Kavya holds a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Reed College.
