John Tan

John Tan is the founder of Edzuki, specializing in international development, economics, and policy since August 2017. In the role of DataOps at Sightline Climate (CTVC) from January 2023 to January 2025, John is focused on scaling climate tech data. Previously, John worked at Cambridge Applied Research Ltd as part of the Product & Research team from July 2021 to November 2022, contributing to the ClimateAligned project by applying AI/ML in the sustainable bonds market and engaging in fundraising and pitch deck development. As a co-founder of CoverShr from January 2016 to January 2020, John developed a search engine for educational resources that served 12,000 users across 80 countries. John holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge.
