Brian Dabbs is an accomplished reporter with extensive experience in journalism, currently serving at E&E News, focusing on the Energy Department and White House since January 2023. Previously, Dabbs worked at the National Journal from September 2017 to January 2023, and at Bloomberg BNA from November 2015 to September 2017, specializing in environmental reporting, waste contamination, litigation, and EPA budget processes. Earlier roles included coverage of international trade policy at Warren Communications News, Inc., and significant freelance reporting across multiple regions, including Egypt and Kenya. Dabbs also held editorial positions at Egypt Independent, overseeing the World section and engaging in copy editing. Brian Dabbs holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Western Colorado University.
