Lesley Clark is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and climate change coverage. Currently serving as a reporter for E&E News since October 2019, Lesley focuses on climate change, litigation, and politics. Prior to this role, Lesley was a Washington Correspondent for McClatchy, covering Congress during the Trump administration and specializing in topics such as Kentucky politics and figures like Mitch McConnell. Lesley's earlier experience includes being a White House Correspondent for McClatchy, where coverage spanned the Obama administration’s policies, as well as roles at The Miami Herald and Orlando Sentinel, focusing on state government and business reporting. Lesley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
