Ben Caulfield

Ben Caulfield has been working in the business development field since 2008. Ben began their career at Outpost-31 as a Business Development Consultant for U-Explore.com, where they were responsible for engaging with corporates to create immersive environments for 14-24yo’s for careers guidance. In 2010, they joined AOL as a Manager of Business Development for the UK and Europe. In this role, they generated deal flow including Stuqq, Blinkbox, and others, provided support and advice to start-ups and start-up ecosystems, and spoke at City University as part of the Entrepreneurialism and Journalism course. Ben also held a Creative Solutions Manager role at AOL, where they increased the number of creative responses by 5 places according to IAB research, and provided a creative resource to the sales team and clients.

In 2011, Ben Caulfield became a Business Development Consultant for Addictive Interactive, where they provided competitive analysis and scoped out opportunity, worked with the development team to deliver new product offerings, and headed up sales/business development and managed further BD exec. In 2012, they co-founded REQQI as the CEO and provided a solution to the problem of lifestyle recommendations having no relevance to the enquirer. In 2014, they became a Business Development Consultant for Sandpit Lab and provided ideation for the latest topic, proximity, held with O2, Amex, Asios, BA, Nike, and streamlined a business plan for investment. Ben also founded LoveThis and provided competitive analysis and new product positioning, and worked with product, design, and marketing to try and increase growth. In 2015, they became the CEO of Maths Doctor and the Director of dinewithwine.co.uk, and also co-founded Eedi, where they are working to address the global education crisis (World Bank).

Ben Caulfield attended The King's School, Grantham from 1991 to 1999. Ben then obtained a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2003-2004.
