Thomas Verstaen currently serves as Lid Technisch Comité Smart & Sustainable Constructions at WTCB-CSTC-BBRI since January 2022 and as Verantwoordelijke Digital Building Solutions at EEG GROUP from August 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Service Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer at Building-IQ from July 2013 to August 2020, and Research Assistant in Automation at Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen from June 2012 to June 2013. Thomas Verstaen holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen (2008-2012) and has completed various professional development courses, including a Certificate of Participation in Digital Business Transformation from Vlerick Business School, a course in Verbindend Leiderschap from NCOI Opleidingen, and the EcoXpert BMS Badge with a specialization in healthcare from Schneider Electric.
