Mark Dolling

Mark Dolling has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Mark started their career as a Management Trainee at Buckinghamshire County Council in 1988, where they worked in various roles in policy, special projects, and the school buildings team. Mark then moved on to Milton Keynes Council, where they held several positions, including Capital Programme Director, Capital Projects Director, and Assistant Director of Education. In these roles, they were responsible for leading and directing major capital projects, overseeing school building programs, and managing facilities management services.

Later, Dolling joined Carillion as an Operations Director, where they had leadership and P&L accountability for a contract with a large council. Mark also developed and implemented a new professional services commissioning model.

Following their time at Carillion, Dolling joined ENGIE UK & Ireland, first as a Director focusing on the education and public sector, where they developed a growth strategy and secured significant contracts. Mark later became an Operations Director, leading a performance review and reorganization project.

Dolling then worked as a Business Development Director at Mitie Communities, specializing in the education and local government sectors. Mark integrated Mitie's FM capability with decarbonization solutions to provide cost-effective and sector-leading solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Currently, Dolling holds the position of Strategic Development Director (Education & Culture Sectors) at eEnergy. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in strategic development, business development, performance management, and project leadership in the education and public sectors.

Mark Dolling completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from De Montfort University from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained their HNC in Public Administration from Oxford Brookes University from 1988 to 1990.

In 2007 and 2013, Mark Dolling completed the Foundation and Practitioner levels of the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) course. Additionally, they obtained the Foundation level certification in Prince2 in 2009. No specific field of study was mentioned for these certifications.
