Anika Smith

Anika Smith is currently serving as Counsel in the Office of the Chair at the EEOC, providing legal advice to Commissioner Andrea Lucas since 2024. Previously, Anika has held various legal roles, including Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Associate at Jones Day, where they worked from 2022 to 2024. They earned a Doctor of Law, summa cum laude, from The Catholic University of America, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Prior to their legal career, Anika was a Policy Analyst at the Discovery Institute and the Generation Forum Director for the National Association of Evangelicals.
