Matt Mong

Administrative Judge

Matt Mong has extensive legal expertise, particularly in civil litigation, employment, and labor law. As a Senior Associate Attorney at Christman, Kelley & Clarke, PC, from January 2011 to November 2016, Mong managed a substantial caseload, supervised office operations, and successfully litigated complex business disputes, achieving significant verdicts and settlements. Subsequently, Mong served as an Attorney-Advisor for the Federal Aviation Administration from November 2016 to September 2018, providing legal guidance on employment and FOIA matters. Following that role, Mong worked as Associate Employment Law Counsel for Minnesota Management & Budget, advising over 100 state agencies on employment law and compliance before transitioning to EEOC as an Administrative Judge in July 2021. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Southwestern University School of Law and a B.A. in History from UC Santa Barbara.
