Michael Kirkland

Michael Kirkland is the Director of the New Orleans Field Office for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where they supervise a team of investigators and support staff, guiding them in enforcement functions and overseeing public outreach related to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior to this role, Michael served as Command Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army from 2017 to 2020. They also held a position as a Supervisory Equal Opportunity Investigator at the EEOC, where they implemented the Commission's programs within their jurisdiction.
