Simon Sundboell has extensive work experience in the commercial and logistics industry, spanning over two decades. Simon started their career in 1997 as a Management Trainee at Maersk Line, where they then held various roles such as Head of Route Market Intelligence, Global Sales & Marketing, Finance Manager for the Europe Region, Deputy Country Manager for Maersk Madagascar, and Regional Trade Manager for North & South America at Maersk France. In 2010, they joined Gulftainer as Group Commercial Manager, where they grew and professionalized the commercial department, and built and executed an aggressive commercial strategy. In 2015, they founded eeSea, where they currently serve as Founder & CEO.
Simon Sundboell's education history includes a Gymnasium (College equivalent) from Aarhus Katedralskole from 1994 to 1997, a Young Talent Program from Maersk Shipping Academy from 1997 to 1999, a Logistics course from an Internal course in 2002, a Mobilizing Individual Resources course from an Internal course in 2005, an Essentials of Management Decisions from Management Centre Europe in 2006, The Leadership Pipeline from an Internal course in 2007, and a Building on Talent from IMD in 2007-2008. Simon also obtained an MBA from IMD in 2009.
