Matt Ward

Matt Ward serves as the Founder and CEO of 4WARD, the largest local-to-global community for climate and sustainability professionals, since December 2021. Under Ward's leadership, 4WARD builds a network that connects startups, corporates, investors, and governments to collaboratively address climate challenges. In addition, Ward has founded and hosted The Startup Tank, co-invested in climate-focused companies like Mycocycle, Applied Bioplastics, and serves as an advisor for several innovative firms such as ClimateCrop and DOTS. With a background in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Ward also coaches startups and businesses on strategy, growth, and fundraising, enhancing their impact on environmental sustainability.
