Cai Thomas

Cai Thomas is a mission-driven professional with nearly fifteen years of experience at the intersection of gender equity, education, and social inclusion. Currently serving as an English Second Language Teacher at EF, Cai previously held significant roles as Chief Operating Officer at The Global Center for LGBTI+ Freedom and Education, and as Technical Advisor at IREX, where they led programs focused on gender equity and youth empowerment across multiple countries. Cai's commitment to fostering inclusive environments is further demonstrated through their work with the International Trans Fund and as a co-founder of LGBTI+ initiatives at IREX. They have also contributed to educational development as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia and an Instructor at American House of Languages. Currently pursuing degrees in International/Global Studies and International and Comparative Education, Cai continues to be recognized for their impactful contributions, including being named to the National Peace Corps Association’s 40 Under 40 list.
