Aki Koivukoski

Aki Koivukoski has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Aki started their career in 2009 as a Research Trainee at VTT, where they worked on software project activities and completed their master's thesis on media content sharing. Aki then became a Research Scientist at VTT, focusing on expert services and serving private and public sectors. At the same time, they worked as a part-time Business Developer for EIT ICT Labs, where they supported different programs and coached SMEs into international markets. In 2014, they transitioned to a full-time Business Developer role at EIT ICT Labs.

In 2015, Aki joined EIT Digital as a Business Developer, responsible for identifying technologies and startups, developing and coaching a portfolio of startups, and supporting their expansion into European markets. Aki then joined Uptime OU in 2017 as a Business Development Manager, helping the company enter the Finnish market through market research, sales, and building partnerships. Currently, Aki is working at Efecte Plc as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on service management and ITSM. Aki previously held the role of Senior Product Manager and has been with the company since 2019.

Aki Koivukoski holds a Master's Degree in Information engineering from the University of Oulu. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2020.
